A beautiful lapis pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This wonderful hand-carved piece is of Chinese origin and is rather substantial in size. The lapis forms a large teardrop shape and displays a spectacular deep blue color with shimmery gold flecks. The hand-carved design has a floral motif that gives three-dimensional detail and depth to the piece. At the top of the pendant is a simple yellow gold bail, allowing it to be hung and worn from your favorite chain. Measurements: The pendant hangs 2" long, measures 1 1/2" wide, and is 1/2" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the carved lapis or to the gold bail, which is secure and intact.
